    Mauro Cascioli born in Buenos Aires in 1978. Between 1992 and 2004 he worked as an illustrator in publications including Rolling Stone Argentina, La Nación and Editorial Atlántida. He also painted the film posters for the features "El Fondo del Mar" and "Tiempo de Valientes".

    During 2005 he started working as an assistant artist for DC comics (Batman, Superman & Space Ghost) and also did freelance works for Warcraft and Marvel Comics (Wolverine, Mystique).

    In 2007 he signed an exclusive contract with DC comics to replace Howard Porter for the last four issues of The Trials of Shazam!. He is currently working on the title Cry for Justice a new series for DC comics, written by James Robinson.

    More current work has seen him working on the recent series Cry For Justice and working on cover art for the more recent Green Arrow Issues.
