Moon Knight beats up a gang of thugs in an alley who were trying to break into the Mayoral candidates HQ. It is revealed that Conquer-Lord planned to blame the break-in on the candidate's competitor so that he'd forfeit. Unfortunately for Moon Knight, one of the gang was an undercover cop. Conquer-Lord learns of their failure and decides to take things into his own hands. Meanwhile, Marc returns home, only to duck back out as Jake Lockley. He heads to Gena's diner where Crawley gives him the word on the street, including word on Conquer-Lord. Moon Knight intercepts Conquer-Lord's assassination attempt on the Mayoral competition, but the tables turn when he captures Marlene... and he learns that the shot found its target anyway.
