After the nuclear incident at Monument Valley, television pundit shows had a field day. They brought in experts from around the country and from every discipline to analyze the situation. The more sensational the show, the happier they were.

Martha Moore often took the role of the liberal feminist, reframing conservative arguments in terms of how phallocentric they were. A Yale lecturer and the editor of True Clit, an anthology of radical women's poetry, Moore stood as an icon for the modern woman trying to fight against an inherently gynophobic and misogynistic patriarchy.

She did reveal on a radio show, however, that she secretly harbored intense desires for sex with men. What effect this will have on her career is unknown.
