History
The MACH-V armor was designed and built by Abe Jenkins and Fixer when they were employed by the C.S.A. to replace the MACH-IV Armor. Abe would don the armor to save Songbird and Natasha Romanov from Norman Osborn's Thunderbolts black ops team.
When Luke Cage was given command of the Thunderbolts, Abe used the MACH-V armor as an agent of F.A.C.T. and a supervisory member of the Thunderbolts stationed at The Raft.
After leaving the Thunderbolts and becoming a parole officer, Abe would replace the MACH-V armor with a new design.
Function
Like previous MACH armors, the MACH-V armor allowed Abe to fly at high speeds, protected him from most conventional weapons, and carried an arsenal of military ordinance. The MACH-V armor was considerably larger and heavier than previous versions of the suit, designed for durability rather than maneuverability.
