    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Raleigh doesn't have a soul. A cat stole it - or at least that's what she tells people - or at least that's what she would tell people if she told people anything. But that would mean talking to people, and the mere thought of social interaction is terrifying. How did such a shy teenage girl end up in a car with three of her hooligan classmates on a cross-country road trip? Being forced to interact with kids her own age is a new and alarming proposition for Raleigh, but maybe it's just what she needs - or maybe it can help her find what she needs - or maybe it can help her to realize that what she needs has been with her all along.

As a teenager in this world where the media is so prevalent in every aspect of our life, I can't tell you how many times I've seen the media tell me what being a teenager is. All the high school sitcoms, young adult novels, and young adult movies where they try to communicate to an older audience that "yes, this is how teenagers of today act" often times have amazed me at how wrong the general perception of being a young adult in this crazy world is. By the media, and thus, many adult's ...

    Darn cats are everywhere 0

Last night when I was walking home from a coffee shop (Tim Horton's for my Canadian friends), there was a darn cat that came up to me and followed me home. Real story.... I also just recently read a review for this comic and remembered I never reviewed it.  All this Scott Pilgrim hype (SP)  , some people may look into Lost at Sea being the first book from Bryan Lee O'Malley (Mal).  I know I read it back when book three came out because of the wait between books seemed so long.  We are lucky as r...

    Review: Lost at Sea 0

Lost at Sea is the story of Raleigh who is taking a road trip back home with 4 acquaintances from school. During this trip she struggles with feelings of isolation and confusion. Her companions on this trip seem to initially be oblivious to her distress but as the story progresses her problems become more apparent.Whether O'Malley is writing teens or twenty-somethings the interaction both verbal and non-verbal always feel organic. These are people you could know or have known. I'm usually remind...
