    When cultist attempted to summon Satan to sacrifice an infant Doctor Occult and Rose Psychic, they accidentally summoned the demon Koth. Though the infants were saved, Koth would later return as an enemy. He is the arch enemy of the mystical group known as The Seven.

    Creation

    Koth first appeared in The Comics Magazine #1 also known as Funny Pages at Centaur Comics when the Dr. Occult strip had been renamed Dr. Mystic. He continued at DC Comics in More Fun Comics #14. He was created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel.

    Early depictions were originally as a powerful Asian sorcerer but modern stories gave him portrayed him as more of a demon.
