Even before being mutated, Kid Cortex thought highly of his intellect as just an ordinary farm animal, believing himself mentally superior to the other animals on the farm, one day he noticed only one animal was grazing in a pasture, an Ox, while the rest of the farm animals stayed clear of this part of the field, Kid viewed this as an easy meal, and joined the Ox to graze in the otherwise unoccupied field, but this part of the field had been exposed to a strange radiation, mutating the two animals into the psychic goat Kid Cortex and the super-strong ox Oxy-Moron
