Brief History
On the Counter-Earth created by Franklin Richards, a young Elric Whiteman was given to genetic researchers by his own parents for a large sum of money. The researchers spliced his DNA with the genetic material from a race of equine aliens known as the
Kymellians. The alien genes gave Elric the ability to shapeshift into a horse-like form, and create subspace "pockets" in which he could hide himself or other items in his own personal dimension. He named himself Kid Colt and acted as a freedom fighter, using his abilities to deliver supplies to the needy. Later he met Bucky and her Young Allies and was convinced to join them. While on the team, he learned that he could use his subspace power to teleport which he used to send the team to a research center where two alien lifeforms were being held prisoner.
