He forms a team of trusted friends and top operatives, and Kickers, Inc., the worlds premier paranormal investigators, is born!
New York Smashers Quarterback Jack "Mr. Magnificent" Magniconte, exposure to the dazzling light known as "The White Event" left him temporarily dazed and confused. But this was only the beginning for the eventual founder of Kickers, Inc., as the very next day, Magniconte submitted himself to his sibling’s Steve's creation, "The Intensifier," which was created to improve reflexes and physical condition over a period of time.
However, its effects on Magniconte were instantaneous—a by-product of his emerging paranormality—and turned his hair from blond to white but also enhanced his speed, strength, and endurance.
Not long after, Magniconte new powers led him to walk away from the game of football as it no longer posed a challenged to him. Coupled with the murder of his brother at the hands of a loan shark, Magniconte, along with his wife, Doll, and Smashers teammates Brick Wall, Dasher, and Suicide Smythe formed the altruistic group known as Kickers, Inc.
