Overview
Kerspan is a Secundae and member of the First of
House Dexter. Kerspan's name is derived from the words, hyper cocker spaniel, and this description seems to govern his personality. He is seen to be a close friend of his fellow Secundae,
Seahn, who he accompanies on a hunting trip with
Trenin in order to view a newly created
Sigil-Bearer more closely. Unfortunately, when things go wrong on the hunt, Kerspan is killed by the Sigil-Bearer
Todosi. This becomes an important event as death is rarely seen among the First, causing them to take precautions in order to control and study the Sigil-Bearers who now pose a threat to their immortality and way of life.
