    Ken Parker has been created by Giancarlo Berardi and Ivo Milazzo in 1974 and was based on a movie with Robert Redford and directed by Sydney Pollack ("Jeremiah Johnson" (1972)). This character has changed the concept of comics published by then and a cult following.

    Kenneth Parker's character was born on November 20, 1844 in Buffalo, Wyoming. Had parents like Lucy and Jed Parker. He also had a brother, Bill, who would be killed in the first issue of the series, what would motivate the hero to hunt the killers of his brother. This event takes place on December 29, 1868, the hero would have 24 years.

    Ken received during his adventures the nickname Long Rifle because of its inseparable arquebus Kentucky, used during the French Revolution. This weapon was inherited from his grandfather.
