    The Kapital is a vessel of the Ninth Wave fleet and is the ship which is the home to Captain Callum Israel and his crew. The Kapital is the sister ship of the missing vessel the Massive.

    The Kapital was built in 1992 by Halifax Shipyards Ltd. It is an early prototype of a Kingston-class Maritime Coastal Defense Vessel which is operated by the Royal Canadian Navy.

    It was purchased by Callum Israel and stripped of it's offensive weaponry and proprietary hardware.

    Callum chose the Kapital over the Massive as Ninth Wave's command ship due to it's smaller size and speed. It also has a reinforced hull for breaking ice and it's military-style profile often gives it a psychological edge in encounters with poachers and illegal whalers.
