Kaname Kuran is a pure blood vampire from the house of Kuran in Vampire Knights and made his appearance in chapter 1 of book 1 of the manga. He saves Yuki when she was onlt 5 years old and no memories of past life. Kaname killed onther vampire to save her and taken her to the headmaster of Cross Academy how adopted her as his own. Kaname know he would keep her safe from harm. To Kaname Yuki not just any girl but is his sister and his one ture love how he will marry one day. Ten years after saving Yuki he now gose to Cross Academy and is head of the Moon Dorm, Class President, both feared and respected by the other vampire that are also at the academy.
