In this alternate World War II that extended to 1946, a series of unexpected changes of events has forced the Americans to invade Japan as originally planned, starting with "Operation Olympic" in November 1945. With the battle for Kyushu racking up heavy casualties, the Americans are forced to execute "Operation Coronet," the invasion of the Kanto Plain on the main island of Honshu, in March 1946, as planned. But with Germany still at war in this alternate history, additional aid from Hitler's forces in Japan to divert the Allied effort in Europe causes more difficulties in Allied logistics in the Pacific, and it's a battle to the death heading for a march toward Tokyo.
