Woman of Tomorrow last edited by SaveMeAndy on 04/10/23 10:17PM View full history

The JLA encounter an enemy from the future!

The issue starts off with the burial of Metamorpho and JLA starting a recruitment drive. They add a new member of the team that comes in the form of Tomorrow Woman. What the JLA don't know is that Tomorrow Woman is an android and was built by Professor Ivo and T.O. Morrow to infiltrate and destroy the league. While the team battles the "If" they are assisted by Tomorrow Woman who ends up overcoming her programing and not only does not hurt anyone in the league but she also sacrifices her life to stop the "If". Ironically Superman is the only one seen at her burial.

    Special Note:

During the burial of Metamorpho there are multiple statures of fallen Justice League members. The Statues are of Green Arrow (Oliver Queen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Ice, Metamorpho, Doctor Mid-Nite (Charles McNider), Flash (Barry Allen) and Jesse Quick.
