     THE VILTRUMITE WAR CONTINUES!
You all knew it was coming, so might as well get it out of the way early: CONQUEST vs. INVINCIBLE - the rematch! This time Invincible won’t have Atom Eve to help him, and Conquest won’t make the mistake of underestimating him. Can a galaxy-spanning all-out war contain this fight? This issue is not to be missed!

I started reading this book because I've always been a fan of Robert Kirkman's writing, and it quickly became one of my favorites because of Ryan Ottley's pencils. I love how these two guys work together, and within this issue, there are some amazing battle scenes and splash pages....

And lo, my quest to review the Viltrumite War continues. This  issue consists mostly of action sequences, but only be reviewing it shall we determine if that's for better or for worse.  Our latest issue starts where the last one ended, with Mark encountering Conquest, who he had thought was dead. After Conquest says some random evil clichés, the inevitable fight breaks out, with Invincible, Oliver (A.K.A. "Young Omni-Man"), Tech Jacket, Allen the Alien, and Nolan (A.K.A. "Middle-Aged Omni-Man") ...

I read the other reviews and they are great about this book, but I cannot help but add a few points. I appreciate the fact that Kirkman is trying to tell the story without dragging items out like some other books do. I mean why does a 14-part story need to have 3 parts dedicated to selling an extra book as opposed to telling the story. This story is about the Viltrumite War and not about Conquest directly. We already did that with previous issues.   I also respect the fact that we actually have ...
