    Origin

    The Interceptor is a ship once used by the Manhunters. It was found in a junkyard on Oa by Hal Jordan. Jordan had Stel rebuild and reprogram it. It was kept by Jordan in a hangar in Sector 2000 on a planet known as "The Green House."

    The Interceptor is used by Jordan and Kilowog in Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

    Originally built by the Guardians of the Universe, it was so fast it needed an advanced artificial intelligence to operate it. This intelligence is Aya. The ship has ultra-warp capabilities and is powered by a Green Lantern Power Battery.

    Hal Jordan "borrowed" the ship for his battle against the Red Lantern Corps.
