    Hound Comics; established in 2010, was originally formed by the 'Brimstone and The Borderhounds' Creative Team including Brimstone, Marcello Carnevali, Sajad Shah, Allen Chickering and Thiago Castro. The brand has since grown tremendously and is now home to over thirty creator owned brands including Brimstone and The Borderhounds, The Protector, Dr. Goyle, Soul Heir RVD's Twisted Perception and many more.

    Hound Comics, Inc. (Hound Entertainment Group) is a privately owned publishing and multi-media company encompassing all aspects of the entertainment industry. Hound is dedicated to providing top notch entertainment including several projects ranging from comic books to film. The flagship brand, Brimstone and The Borderhounds has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception in 2005 to its eventual launch on October 31st, 2010 in Borders Books across the United States.

    Re-launched on January 11, 2011 in limited Barnes & Noble retail locations, Hound Comics made history as the only independently owned and operated comic book company distributed in the big box retailer alongside iconic companies such as Marvel and DC. The Brimstone and The Borderhounds series quickly garnered popularity and was cherry-picked by Barnes & Noble to be distributed to their over 700 retail locations nationwide; as well as their affiliate network of B.Dalton retail outlets.

    Shortly following this expansion, the series was accepted by Diamond Comic Distributors for distribution to thousands of independent retail locations across the globe. In addition to the in-store sales, the Borderhounds title has also been made available for online purchase via BN.com (Barnes & Noble), Amazon, ComicFleaMarket.com and through HoundComics.com. The title is also available as a digital edition on iTunes as well as Drivethrucomics.com, Wowio.com, MyDigitalComics.com and Amusedom. By 2013; Hound Comics has acquired well over thirty new titles for publication including properties such as The Protector; which was featured on the National Geographic Channel and WWE Superstar, RVD's Twisted Perception.

    Over the course of 2011, Hound had expanded its brand by launching several new Divisions aimed at specific markets. The Hound Kids Division, launched on October 31st, 2011, featuring the children’s book series the Border-Pups (a version of the popular Borderhounds characters aimed at children ages 5 - 10); as well as books by the legendary Wookiee, Peter ‘Chewbacca’ Mayhew (Star Wars) featuring the artwork of veteran 17 year Disney artist, Terry Naughton (Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Lion King). Also included in the initial launch was the children’s series, “Turbie the Turtle Duck” by Emmy and Peabody award winning Writer, Producer and Director Rich Arons (He-Man, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons). Hound has begun branching into the video game industry in baby steps by launching a handful of Hound property related mini-games direct to website.

    Hound Publishing premiered with its first release, “In Jamie’s Words”, a book aimed at countering the growing nationwide epidemic of bullying, written by teen activist, Jamie Isaacs. Ms. Isaacs is the youngest person in history to have ever helped to propose, write and eventually pass a bill in New York State. Partial proceeds from the book are donated to the Jamie Isaacs Foundation for Anti-Bullying. Hound Publishing now publishes numerous upcoming authors. Hound realized the rising popularity of online comics and expanded its Webcomics Division on the Hound Comics website and in accordance with Hound Publishing has released their popular comic strip collections in book form including George Gant's, 'On the Grind', 'Peanizels' by Don Mathias and the award winning 'Wages of Sin' by Keith Brown.

    Hound Entertainment licensed properties have spawned numerous products and projects including Brimstone and The Borderhounds: The Animated Series (currently in development). The animated series is being produced by Floating Pear Productions with project manager Linda Walsh (Nickelodeon) and offers a pop culture sandwich of celebrity voice-overs including Peter Mayhew (Star Wars), AJ Pero (Twisted Sister), Claire Unabia (America’s Next Top Model), Brutus Beefcake and Kaval (WWE), Robb Demarest (Ghost Hunters International) with theme music by guitar master Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (Guns N’ Roses) and many more celebrity and surprise guests.

    One of Hound's most popular and sought after projects is the Food Hound: Tidbits series which series is a web-based celebrity food show filmed while on tour making appearances at pop culture conventions around the country. The show seamlessly combines food, travel, celebrity and pop culture in a fun and unique manner. The Food Hounds are currently in their third season, are accredited on IMDb and have reviewed over one hundred restaurants nationwide. As a result of the show - restaurants around the United States have added Brimstone branded products to their existing menus including The Brimstone spiked milkshake at My Burger Bar in Buffalo and a variety of Brimstone related dishes at Times Scare NYC.

    2012 saw licensing agreements with Little Brass Bird (Plush Toys), Blue Rocket Labs (Interactive Mobile Apps), Eastsport (Brimstone and The Borderhounds Branded Backpacks), Bumblefoot (Branded Signature Guitar Cases), Jene Luciani (Branded Pocket Book Line) & Legends of Wrestling Backpack Line and CaJohn’s Fiery Foods (Brimstone, Food Hound & Bumblefoot Branded Seasonings, BBQ Sauces, Hot Sauces, Finishing Sauces and Salsa). 2013 partnerships include Troll Lord Games, Serenity Custom Drums, Curvy Couture, Eco-Couture Eyewear, Demeter Fragrance and The Jerky Connection among others. Since launching the branded lines of sauces and seasonings worldwide on January 15, 2013 - they have won seven major awards within the industry and Hound has been invited to participate in major events around the country such as Zestfest. The Jene Luciani Eastsport/BiJoux branded bags have been spotlighted on Good Day NY, Good Morning America and Wendy Williams and select pieces have been made available online prior to launch. The Brimstone and The Borderhounds backpacks will be released on Walmart.com in October 2013, with the full Bumblefoot and Luciani lines launching directly following in October 2013.

    Hound is endorsed by Eastsport, Bulky Boy Clothing, Copic Markers, Monster Energy, Yelp and Autodesk: Sketch Book Pro. Furthermore, Hound has made it a point to expand its community and global responsibility by partnering with the Ad Counsel, truth and the Project Meridian Foundation; while Hound President and CEO William ‘Brimstone’ Kucmierowski is vying for a spot on the Celebrity Apprentice.

    The mainstream media has been extremely accepting of Hound and specifically its flagship brand, Brimstone and The Borderhounds. The brand has also been praised by kings of the industry including Jim Lee (DC), Bob Sabouni (Marvel), Marat Michels (Deadpool) and the Legendary Stan Lee. Stan Lee personally made it a point to spotlight Hound on his official website with a title that read, “Hound Comics: Embodying the True Meaning Behind ‘Excelsior’ – Rising Up in a Rough Industry.” Hound has also enjoyed the attention of major media including, but not limited to MSNBC, Newsarama, About.com and the Examiner.

    Hound Comics supports its product by touring across the country with stops at just about every major pop culture and comic book convention from Wizard World to New York Comic Con where they are normally featured guests. Hound is also normally involved in hosting a variety of panels for kid's day, how to break into entertainment/comics and celebrity judging for cosplay competitions. Hound prides itself on their one-on-one relationship with fans while on the road; meeting with old fans while continuing to gain new. Hound’s internal celebrities, celebrity clients and world renowned artists travel thousands of miles daily to meet and greet with the fans. Other events include private appearances, public speaking events at schools, colleges, libraries, philanthropic ventures and festivals.
