Crashing through plate glass unscathed? Child’s play. Jumping over moving cars? Whatevs. When Hit-Girl is your mentor, you’d better keep up. Kick-Ass is taking lessons in Advanced Bad Assery from Mindy McCready, and in return, he’s teaching her to survive middle school.

The question is, can she dispatch the Mean Girls without severing any arteries? Meanwhile, Red Mist gets serious about making his mark in the world of super crime.

Hit Girl begins training Kick Ass to be a superhero. She teaches him to lure the scum out of the shadows back acting like a rich lost kid in the bad part of town. She teaches him to break through windows head first. She teaches him catchy catch phrases to day before beating up the bad guys.

Meanwhile David teaches Mindy how to act like a normal girl. About chick flicks, dressing right and watching shows about famous people's houses.

Later, Mindy drugs her mom and Marcus, so her and Kick Ass can go out crime fighting. At Trotski's Kick Ass attempts to take down two crime bosses. He gets overpowered, but Hit Girl comes to aide, using lethal force. The pair then escape and take Kick Ass to the emergency room for his broken hand.

Later, Red Mist prepares to commit the first Super-Crime, by walking into a convenience store in costume and blowing away the teller in front of cameras.

    Another Slam-Dunk! 0

Opening remarks:This issue picks up with the same main themes of the last issue, and those are:More of Mindy training Dave.A little more of her acclimation to living a normal lifeRed Mist's growth as a villain.Likes:For some reason, the colors in the beginning of the issue seemed brighter than usual and the art both stuck out and looked better to me, but this is probably a fluke in my reading. The training is what takes up most of the issue but the dialogue between the characters is well-written...
