    The Killer Among Us

Harper Simmons was a journalist working for the Guardian, newspaper belonging to Warren Worthington III. One night, he received an unexpected visit from Shadow King who gave to him important files containing the information about true savage nature of Archangel and the evidence of existence of Wolverine's X-Force. He tried to contact an editor of the newspaper in order to publish all information. Archangel noticed that his editor was going to receive those files and killed him, then he showed himself to Harper to kill him and ensured that the files were destroyed. Wolverine appeared to stop Warren and with X-Force's help Warren was imprisoned and Psylocke erased any memories of what happened to Harper.

    Age of Apocalypse

Simmons was investigating the prison break of Dark Beast by Sugar Man in and found their secret laboratory. He was still inside when the pair returned, so he was forced to hide. Unaware of third party, they sealed the lab, powered a portal and escaped through it to their homeworld. Having nowhere else to go, Harper entered it too and wound up on Earth-295. In the next few weeks he wrote six pamphlets regarding the similar nature of humans and mutants which led to massive riots. Eventually, he was tracked down by Keeper Murdock, but was saved in the nick of time by the X-Terminated.
