Created by Pat Mills, scripted by Tom Tully and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and Massimo Belardinelli - The Harlem Heroes starred in two series of the early editions of 2000AD.
The team were originally known as the Harlem Heroes (progs 1-27), but were renamed the Harlem Hellcats for the second story 'Inferno' (progs 36-75).
A third, unrelated series appeared in 2000AD in the 1990s.
The son and grandson of team leader, Giant, would both become Judges of Mega-City One.
