Origin
Before the invasion, Hal was a athlete, which comes in handy for the supply runs and missions he does with his father. It also helped him to learn how to ride a dirt bike easily and become a scout. Learning how to ride was how Hal met his current girlfriend, Karen. Hal appreciates family more, now that his mother is dead and his brother Ben is missing. He is constantly looking out for his other brother Matt as well as his father. Despite his youthful impulse, Hal manages himself well in a fight.
