Gurren Lagann is the mecha Simon and Kamina pilot in the Gurren Lagann series. Gurren Lagann runs on Spiral Energy and is one of the most powerful mecha in the early episodes of the series, and the strongest mecha in the series at the end of it. Gurren Lagann is made from two mechas fused via the Lagann Impact. Gurren was a mecha stolen from Beastmen while Lagann was found underground by Simon. Later on in the series, Gurren Lagann fused with an unnamed mecha for a permanent set of spiral powered wings. Gurren Lagann is tremendously powerful, even in its first form.

    • Gurren Lagann easily breaks the Sound Barrier within seconds of taking off for flight.
    • Gurren Lagann could easily lift 100+ tons.
    • Gurren Lagann was able to beat Viral's extremely powerful mecha right after fusing

Arc-Gurren Lagann: The Space Dai-Gun ship. It only responds to Lord Genome as its owner. To fight the Anti-Spiral fleet, Gurren Lagann fused with the Space Dai-Gun ship to create the Arc-Gurren Lagann. Although its full power was never witnessed, in its debut, it broke the fabric of space and time with brute force. Arc-Gurren Lagann is the size of a city and has literally immeasurable strength. Arc-Gurren Lagann has boundless power and is leagues stronger than Gurren Lagann.

Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann: SGGL is another colossal form of Gurren Lagann created by absorbing an ocean of Spiral power. SGGL is the third most powerful form of Gurren Lagann in the series; it is a little bigger than planet Earth. Because of its size, the people on board use teleportation technology to move around the ship. Its combat abilities are unparalleled by any other battleship-type mecha in the series, sporting an enormous array of time-traveling missiles, beam weapons and shielding capabilities. It also has the capability to transverse to other dimensions and universes and has the manufacturing capabilities to create hundreds of Arc-Gurren Lagann-sized mecha in a small period of time. It is as big as Planet Earth. Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann has the power to use Time/Space missiles which can be fired anywhere and will traverse time and space to find their target. The missiles are easily solar system busters.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: This is the strongest mecha in the anime television series, but there is a stronger form shown in the movies. Its abilities are immeasurable due to it being powered by its pilot's infinite willpower. TTGL's punches are strong enough to obliterate multiple galaxies. It is 100 times the size of the Milky Way Galaxy. It's abilities are drawn mainly from its pilots; guns, lasers, swords, hooks, and obviously, drills. TTGL is strong enough to bend reality, break the laws of physics, create matter from nothing, and take attacks with the power of the Big Bang. TTGL was the biggest mech ever seen in an anime (until it was surpassed by STTGL in the movies). It moves at billions of times the speed of light and is constantly generating so much energy, a galaxy is being created in its engines.

Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann : The most powerful form of Gurren Lagann in existence. It is hundreds of times taller than TTGL. STTGL is so gigantic that it made all the galaxies around it look tiny. A God-like entity, it is 52.8 billion light years tall, according to the official guide book from GAINAX (仕事魂), making it about 58% the size of the universe (91 billion light years). Its finishing move, Super Tengen Toppa Giga Drill Break, is at least ten times longer than STTGL itself (and several times wider), large enough to engulf a multiverse and strong enough to destroy a multiverse many times over. STTGL moves at speeds not comprehensible to us, traversing trillions of light years in seconds.
