Hal Jordan's life as Green Lantern affected far more people than anyone could have known. Tom Kalmaku, Hal's mechanic and confidant through his career as Green Lantern, is left to deal with the biggest of Hal's legacies: a young boy claiming to be Hal's son, who also has a connection to one of the universe's greatest powers. But first the pair will have to figure out why a dark figure has come from outer space to make sure no descendant of Hal Jordan survives.
