    The War Gets More Interesting 0

    War of the Green Lanterns gets better as Tony Bedard jumps in with the second part of the franchise event. The effects of Krona's revenge on the Guardians of the Universe reaches the Honor Guard, leaving Kyle, John and Ganthet struggling against each other.  It is a shame Tony Bedard did not come to the Green Lantern franchise sooner, because he is a savior to Kyle Rayner and John Stewart.     This is Part 2 of the War of the Green Lanterns storyline. Please pick up Green Lantern 64 for the first part of this story, which came out the same day.  The Good Green Lantern Corps (GLC) may be a part of a bigger storyline, but it still feels like its own book, and it still ties into the main event. While Green Lantern focuses on Hal Jordan, the leaders of the other Corps, Krona, and the Gaurdians, GLC stays focused on Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, and Ganthet.     This is a pretty fun issue.  With the first part being a slow introduction to the crossover as the events of the Weaponer story arc are wrapped up, as soon as the action shifts to Oa the issue picks up momentum and fast.  The Green Lanterns have become corrupted by the yellow impurity, and only those that have been exposed to it before are able to resist it temporarily.  This leads to the fight (as the cover alluded to) between Kyle and John, which was not so much based on action but rather the ...
