    Review: Green Latern Corps #53 0

    A new, more aggressive Weaponer from Qward kidnaps Sora as part of a rather nasty scheme to get revenge on Sinestro.  The Good To focus on something specific, I got a kick out of all of Sora constructs' being medical instruments. With all these Corps having the same powers, it's tough to make one corpsman unique from the next, so it was quite clever way to express her character (and imagination.)  Speaking of powers, this new Weaponer's weakness-specifying weapon is a great touch.     Forging ahead 0

    After the not as engaging story arc "Revolt of the Alpha Lanterns" this story comes as a breath of fresh air.  The villain is introduced off the top as the Weaponer and he has plans for revenge against Sinestro.  As happens so often in this series, dialogue which is engaging is mixed in with a degree of action as Soranik and Kyle are on a sort of aid mission to Korugar.  Of course when the Weaponer shows up the action kicks into high gear with Kyle facing off against the new foe.  Soranik is kid...
