The comic label's name is derived from the words 'violent' and 'erotic', which gives away a rather large clue about the adult nature of the books.

Danzig a life long comic fan took over the writing of some of the label's titles himself such as Jaguar God and G.O.T.H. while at the same time managing to attract talent like cover artist (and legend) Frank Frazetta. One of Frazetta's most famous paintings Death Dealer was developed into a now very collectable series.

Other titles published by Verotik include 'Igrat', 'Satanika' and the vampire themed 'Sunglasses After Dark'.
