The Gentrifiers are led by the Surveyor and use aggressive robotic hounds called Sniffers. The Doom Patrol fought against them to protect their friend, Danny the Brick. After being violently pursued, and just as the Surveyor was seeking authorization to "purge" the area, the Doom Patrol managed to trick the Gentrifiers into thinking they won. They had originally come looking for Danny the Brick, and left with such a brick; unknown to them that Danny had transformed himself into Danny the Bungalow, and thus had a brick to spare. The Gentrifiers then left without incident.
