    Origin

The unnamed man who would become Generic Super-Hero led a pretty depressing life. He's plagued by the hateful Parsons at work, he still lives with his parents, his younger brother has been in a coma for three months, and he is helpless as some muggers rob him leaving him without enough money to take the subway home. The young man does have a girlfriend, though, and enjoys collecting glow in the dark items.

The evening of the mugging, he was carrying a glow in the dark snow globe on Three Mile Island. In frustration, he smashes the snow globe and returns home.

That night he is awoken by the sound of popping and learns that it is his muscles popping out. Buying a cheap superhero costume, he becomes the Generic Super-Hero, fighting crime.
