    I am not overly familiar with either James Asmus or Clay Mann besides knowing who they are but I think they have done a really good job with Gambit who recently has been a hard enough character for people to write in X comics let alone in a solo comic. I think Mann's art really suits Gambit and I can't think of any other people of the top of my head recently that have done him as good as this.I really like how Gambit went back to his roots in this comic as we've seen Gambit the X-Man for years n...

    Recommendation: “Sure, why not…”I should start out by saying, I really have no background with this character, other than from cartoons, video games and okay, that one X-Men movie that no one liked… That said, based on what I saw from this book, it is a good jumping on point. It provided enough character background to know what is going on, but not too much to make you feel like it is forcing it on you…Overall, it was an interesting story, very nice art, illustrated good use of his powers and sk...

    Honestly, I never really intended to give this title a look at all. Sure, Gambit was always enjoyable in the X-books that he would use to grace us with his presence, but he always felt like one of those characters who could never really support his own book, and so was best left as a supporter for books like X-23, X-men Legacy, and of course uncanny X-men.Then I read Hawkeye #1. And like everyone else who seems to have picked up that book, I started to be a bit more optimistic about a character ...
