    Femforce Special #1

Femforce Special » Femforce Special #1 released by AC Comics on June 1, 1984.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

The book that started it all! This industry-changing 1984 one shot was not only the FemForce's first full-length feature and AC Comics appearance, but the first book-length "good girl art" superhero feature ever done in comics. With this issue, the FemForce also became the first all-female supergroup to get their own book.

Set in the early days of World War II, Ms. Victory, She-Cat, The Blue Bulleteer and Rio Rita must team up to stop a blood-thirsty group of Axis terrorists intent on stealing the Statue Of Liberty, hoping to break America's morale and weaken the Allied efforts.

This book-length 40-page story is set up movie-serial style, in six chapters of outrageous action and superb, sexy and glamorous pin-up art that looks like it came staight out of comic's Golden Age. Beautiful, buxom long-legged women, in skimpy, skin-tight costumes; is it any wonder this book became AC's runaway smash hit?

If you liked the classic GGA art of Matt Baker, Bill Ward, Bob Lubbers, Dave Stevens, Alberto Varga, George Petty, Peter Driben, etc., you'll love this.

Story by FemForce creator Bill Black with art by Black and Mark G. Heike. Guest stars Lady Luger and Fritz Voltzman.

Color wraparound cover by Black and Heike, interiors are black and white.
