In the ruins of what was The Weir Asylum (in New-York), revived heroes of old prepare to make a stand as The Black Shroud has freed countless villains to help him.

"Up From The Ashes Rises... Death!" is written and drawn by Bill Black, with inks by Mark Heike. Guest-starring The Purple Claw, Miss Masque, Yankee Girl, American Crusader, Crimebuster, Captain Flash, The Black Owl, Frankenstein, Iron Jaw, Cave Girl and Kitten with the death of Airmale and Stampy!

Then a new Ms. Victory wasn't good enough for the ole' U. S. Government, they want to experiment with new ways to use V-47. Enter Dr. Carol Heisler, who only wanted to cure her arthritis. Volunteering to be the test subject, Dr. Heisler's therapy is a big... ...success. Not only does she become young and pain free, she grows into a 50-foot tall, primitive engine of destruction to become known as Garganta! GTS fans take note this issue is AC's resident giantess' first appearance.

"Garganta ,The 5o Foot Woman!!" is written and drawn by Richard Rome (The Count) and inked by Mark Propst. Guest starring Captain Tom Kelly, Hidalgo Romero, and Stella Stargaze.

Also, another Golden Age reprint from the 1940's, Camilla, by Ralph Mayo, from Fiction House's Jungle Comics #151.

And, a Will Meugniot Nightveil centerspread. Color cover by Will Meugniot and Mark Heike, interiors black and white with graytones.
