Origin

Roberta "Famous Bobby" Harper was the grand-niece of superhero the Guardian, and granddaughter of Mary Harper. She was raised in Suicide Slum, and was determined to escape the neighbourhood by any means necessary. This determination translated into a deep desire to become famous, which she believed would help her get out of the Slum. This is the origin of her nickname, "Famous Bobby". While under the guardianship of her uncle she briefly joined the second incarnation of the Newsboy Legion, formed by the clones of the original members. However, she was soon sent to live with another relative, and thus left the team.

Famous Bobby was created by Jack Kirby, Murphy Anderson and Vince Colletta.
