Andrew Sphinx believes the human face is the ultimate canvas, and that cosmetic surgeons are the artists of a new age. But as Dr. David Scholem prepares to operate, cracks begin to appear in the idyllic facade of Sphinx's tropical island.

Face is a giant-sized one-shot published by DC Vertigo's 'Vertigo Voices' imprint/promotion in the mid-90's helmed by writer Peter Milligan and artist Duncan Fegredo.

Face is a twisted horror story about a demented reclusive artist who hires an expert plastic surgeon to essentially give his face the 'Picasso' treatment.

I'm going to keep this short, Face is probably going to throw you for a subtle loop If you read it like you would a random comic that you came across serendipitously.
