    (Usually credited as Diego Jourdan, sometimes as Diego J. Pereira) A Uruguayan artist, Diego lives in Santiago de Chile, Chile, is mostly known for his work in licensed properties. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1977, he moved to Chile in 1991.

    He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and moved to Santiago de Chile, Chile, in 1991, where he's lived ever since. His studies include Graphic Design (Universidad del Pacifico, Chile), and Computer Typesetting and design (F.I.T., New York City). Among the publishers he's worked for are Simon & Schuster, IDW Publishing, Nickelodeon, Mirage Studios, and Titan Magazines.

    He's worked on properties such as TMNT, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Astro Boy, Ghostbusters, the Smurfs, and Disney/Pixar characters. He has also worked on sketch cards for companies like Topps, on properties such as Star Wars and Mars Attacks. In January 2009, he was accepted as a regular member of the National Cartoonists Society.

    Recently, Diego worked on revamped, yet short-lived runs of Ivy the Terrible in The Beano (2010), and Snooty & Scamp (Lord & Lauser) in Wendy (2011). He is currently working on other projects for D. C. Thomson & Co., among them illustrations for WWE Kids Magazine, and promotional Lego City comics. At the same time, he continues to expand into other fields of illustration while working mainly for publishers in the UK, and for Tinkle Magazine in India.
