    Creation

    Dementia was created by Terry Kavanagh and Nelson Ortega in 1993 and first appeared in Web of Spider-Man Annual # 9.  

    Powers & Abilities

    Dementia has the ability to project a perceptual distortion effect around her that can cause periodic vertigo, nausea and disorientation. Her powers affect her enemies' perception of various people and environment when caught around her distortion field. Dementia actually releases a pheromone that will influence behavioral mechanisms. The pheromone is automatically released as a defense mechanism when she panics and her stress level increases due to threats.
