    Discover the story behind the world's deadliest shot as Deadshot confronts his past and how he became a man who took on the Dark Knight and joined Suicide Squad.

    Small Spoilers Ahead.

    Although Batman is on the cover of this issue he only appears in a brief flashback. Deadshot is on a solo mission to kill a crime boss named El Jefe. The only help he gets is from Black Orchid at the end of his mission. Sarge Steel and Rick Flag listen in on Deadshot the whole time he is on his mission but they never intervene.

    Side-stories are Deadshot's ex-wife is trying to find him and his therapist is trying to find what is psychologically making him the criminal he is. She it thrown off the case when her supervisor finds out that Deadshot kissed her. The issue ends with Deadshot taking a leave of absence from the Suicide Squad.

    Dead on Arrival 0

    For a Deadshot comic made in 1988 this is pretty good.   It is hard to make a comic of a villain enjoyable but this one works so far.  Deadshot does execute a man he doesn't know who may be an undercover law enforcer, but he doesn't care. This was the only part of the book I didn't like.  He has no way of knowing if the man was a law enforcer or not and it is established that even if he did it wouldn't matter.  I'm not a fan of these kinds of scenes and the fact that he wasn't a law enforcer aft...
