Two short stories are contained in this comic, containing different art and writing styles. Both are re-imaginings of a old Superman story, by Julie Schwartz (which this book is in tribute too). In both Superman has a run in with the character Phantom Quarterback, but the character is very different in both stories, in fact the only thing that is the same is the look, powers and name. The first story is light hearted and is written by Stan Lee and the second is a little more mature which is written by Paul Levitz and Keith Giffen.
