DHP's third giant-sized annual promises to be the best one yet! Frank Miller's ongoing adventure series Sin City headlines this all-star issue, which also includes part three of the four-part introduction to The Next Men by John Byrne; a two-part prologue to Aliens: Genocide by writer John Arcudi and artists Tony Atkins and Paul Guinan (Terminator); "Eldgytha," a tale of medieval sex and savagery by Rick Geary (who also provides the issue with a stunning back cover); the wacky adventures of Cliff Biggers, Brett Brooks, and Dave Johnson's Earth Boys; a bizarre case from the private files of The Creep, by John Arcudi and Dale Eaglesham; and misguided sorcery in Jo Duffy and Jo Chacon's Fancies. This is one issue you can't afford to miss.

    Chapters

    • Aliens - “The Alien” Part 1 & 2

The military have nearly wiped out the last pockets of the Alien infestation. There's just one small problem left to be taken care of...

    • The Next Men - Prelude

The project directors are racing to erase all traces of their work before the government investigator arrives — even if it means killing the Next Men!

    • Fancies

You say you're the son of your world's greatest sorcerer and hero? That and a gold piece will get you a beer. But watch out for that gargoyle at the bar!

    • Eldgytha - "The True Chronicle of Eldgytha"

A true story of one woman's encounters with love, death, warfare, more death, eight different husbands or lovers, still more death, torture, lots more death, lamprey eels, and more death than you can shake a stick at.

    • Sin City - Episode 7

Marv has turned Sin City upside down in his search for Goldie's killer. But if Goldie's dead, who's the blonde who keeps trying to kill him?

    • The Creep

Oxel Kärnhus may well be the world's ugliest private investigator. But he knows that a mug like his offers certain advantages — if you know how to use it.

    • Earth Boys - “The Trouble with Kib'bllz”

When emergency food supplies are requested by a besieged kingdom on a distant planet, leave it to the Earth Boys to not only deliver the goods, but eradicate the need for the supplies, as well!

Aliens ~ The Alien: Part One & TwoI think the story lacks more explanation of what happened and what happens right now. I liked the concept of another alien who is more of a threat than xenomorphs and xenomorphs actually indirectly helping humans to neutralise this threat, but the story itself didn't do it for me that great. Maybe if I understood the backstory of all this, I would have liked it better. The Next Men ~ PreludeNow we saw both sides of a story that leads up to the Next Men facin...
