    Creation

    Daman Veteri was created by writer Mark Waid and artist Leinil Yu. He first appeared in Indestructible Hulk #3 (Mar. 2013).

    Daman is called by Agent Maria Hill, to come to SHIELD headquarters for a job interview. Maria wants Daman to work with Bruce Banner, but first she test him by showing him some pictures of Banner's alter ego the Hulk. Daman doesn't seem shaken by them and wants to work with Banner to "change the world".

    Daman gets the job along with three others to work as Banner's personal lab assistants. Later while in Banner's private lab Daman meets his idol, and shows his intelligence when answering Banner's question about what the mystery element is.
