Part 1 of the 5-part 'Fragments.' Damage's true origin is soon to be revealed as, over the course of this storyline, each of the major theories surrounding Damage's genesis is explored and expanded upon, with the answer revealed in issue #12. In this issue, Wyldheart embarks on a quest to learn her own origins and finds that she and Damage may share a common birthplace - the planet New Genesis. Meanwhile, the malevolent forces of Symbolix conspire to bring Damage's search for truth to a dead end. Written by Tom Joyner, with art by Bill Marimon and Don Hillsman. Plus, Iron Munro begins a similar quest in "The Phantom Imperative" by Joyner, Jason Armstrong and Andrew Pepoy.
