    Cyndi Lauper is probably most well known for her award-winning pop music career, which included hits like "Girls Just Want To Have Fun," "True Colors," and "She Bop." She also participated in the USA for Africa's "We Are the World" single to raise awareness and funds for African famine relief. However, Lauper was also instrumental in giving professional wrestling legitimacy as a form of mainstream popular culture, becoming involved in the WWF (now WWE) as a valet for Hulk Hogan. She is been both an actress and a voice actress, appearing in shows like Bones and Bob's Burgers. Lauper is the executive producer of her own reality series, Cyndi Lauper: She's Still So Unusual, a play on the title of her 1983 Grammy-winning debut.In more recent years, she has become in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights, which have overlapped with her career in entertainment; she has a role in Queer as Folk. In her personal life, she has been married since 1991 and has one son.
