Alexander Percy Tuttle was a bright student and had a particular talent towards science. His father was a polar opposite who solely was interested in making money and threatened his son about "wasting his time" with scientific endeavors. The younger Tuttle used his fathers company's fund for a project to develop a glove that operated from the energy on his central nervous system. His mechanical glove could cancel out that binding element of atoms. He had faced Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and Green Arrow with the help of Professor Ojo.
