In 1943 torch singer Lyn Hall joins a USO tour to entertain American Troops in Africa, on the way back to the states the boat she is on is torpedoed and she and the rest are assumed dead.
However two years later in 1945 a mysterious woman is found wandering on an air field in Hong Kong, brought back to the United States the women is given the name Claire Voyant until she can regain her memory, in the meantime she is spotted by a Hollywood producer and becomes a star after appearing in a film romance.
Recognizing her in the film her father finds her and she again knows who she is, however how she got to Hong Kong, and what she did for those missing two years remains a mystery to her.
In the four issues of Claire Voyant she does what she can to resolve that mystery during which drama, mystery, romance and general soap opera Sturm und Drang ensues.
Despite the title of the series, she was not psychic
