Origin

Chavaia is the creation of Joe Benitez and Peter Steigerwald. He is also referred to by the nickname Bengalo, is a member of the Cirque Du Romani. He is the loyal pet of Gitano.

Chavaia vs. Lady Mechanika

While Pibbo chased around Bippo and Monsieur Napoleon stole her hat, Chavaia arrived and growled menacingly at Lady Mechanika. She tried to defend herself by pulling out her weapon but it was knocked out of her hand by the knife-throwing Gitano. He ordered Chavaia to stand down.

Gitano began to talk with Lady Mechanika but the conversation turned violent and Lady Mechanika threw Gitano. Chavaia responded by pouncing for Lady Mechanika. She managed to pull out a hidden weapon which shot out at Chavaia and stunned him.
