    I have liked this series of Catwoman overall so far but the last issue by Ann Nocenti wasn't great, and this issue isn't much better. Judd Winick wasn't necessarily the best writer Catwoman has ever had but he did do a better job than Nocenti has done so far. I will however wait and see what she does in the next few issues before I make an overall judgement, as it's only her second issue and it's not always easy jumping onto a series especially during a storyline like Death of the Family.     Burnt OfferingsThis issue is the first since Catwoman’s rebooted origin which many longtime fans consider an unholy abomination. I am not among those fans because I believe most readers wrongly mistook Catwoman’s new origin to involve supernatural aspects, but I can certainly appreciate others distaste for stupid retcons.
