    First Impression:  I picked up a Cartoon Network issue from DC Comics -- No. 42, the December 2009 issue -- and was relieved to see that there are still comics published for kids! Yes, kids!   No brooding, dark avengers, no zombie parents and siblings (long story) but just a bunch of special kids with special powers, beating up on the bad guys.
