For many years most of Alan Moore's Captain Britain work has been out of print and not fully collected. Part of the reason was Alan Moore legally blocking the reprints for so long. This legal block put a strain to the relationship of Alan Moore and Alan Davis. Both gentlemen have been long time friends, until the friction of the reprints became an issue. Moore being proud to stick to his values swore never to work with Marvel again, thus refusing them reprint rights. Alan Davis was effected as well without the reprints means now royalty residuals.
In 2009 the complete acclaimed run of Alan Moore and Alan Davis was collected in the Captain Britain Omnibus. This Omnibus also collects stories from Jamie Delano who has a habit of taking out previous Moore work, such as D.R. and Quinch and Hellblazer, which is the spin-off to Moore's Swamp Thing.
