At the mental institution, Buffy sort of likes not having to slay vampires and demons night after night. But is even this institution free of supernatural threats?

    And while Giles' black magic stopped a corrupt Watcher from destroying the Council, he now has to face the consequences of dabbling in the forbidden arts.

    Buffy is institutionalized in the second chapter of the 'Slayer Interrupted' storyline. But, it's not really a hardcore straight-jacket and rubber room type situation, as depicted on the cover. In fact, Buffy actually doesn't seem to mind it so much - she doesn't have to worry about fighting demons every day... just other mental patients who claim to be demons.This issue starts to bring the comics more in line with the start of the series.
