Viva Las Buffy - Act 2: Full House last edited by Anthony71100 on 11/01/19 04:24PM View full history

Before Buffy ever arrived in Sunnydale, she did a little stint in Vegas. Not exactly doing what we have her pictured here, but we couldn't resist...

Buffy and Pike take jobs at the Golden Touch Casino to investigate whatever sinister vampire related plot is afoot there. Angelus is busy working his way up the ranks behind the scenes at the casino too, but to what end? And finally, will Giles resort to forbidden magic just to win the chance to be Buffy's next watcher?

This issue features what is perhaps the most memorable cover in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series: Buffy dressed as a Vegas showgirl. Shame that it isn't really part of the story here. Although, Buffy does get a job in a casino as a coat check girl. It's too bad that this series goes for such a 'loose' iconic sort of style rather than a more photorealistic one, because Cliff Richards is known for drawing some of the most sumptuous women in comic history - Vampirella, Rogue, Wonder Woman, Huntr...
